If you have grown complacent with your corporate job and your inner entrepreneur is suffering, I wouldn’t normally recommend an obscure movie, but here is a movie that is just a little different. I tend to watch hulu while I am working on my various projects and I happened to see a preview add for a movie with Zach Galifianakis (from The Hangover, etc) and curiosity got the better of me. I was expecting a wacky over the top comedy and got something a little different. Visioneers is part comedy, part social commentary, part lesson and part metaphor. It’s somewhat reminiscent of a movie called Rhinoceros from the 197os where everyone is turning into a Rhinoceros.
The Movie
In Visioneers George Washington Winsterhammerman (played by Galifianakis) plays a corporate cog in world where people are exploding from stress. It’s absurd and truthful at the same time. It’s clearly not something that would do well at the box office, but it’s well worth the 90 minutes. There are some great performances.
